INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Eastern Michigan University rowing team hit the water in the Circle City Saturday morning, April 25, for the Indianapolis Invitational, and the Eagles performed well, finishing second in the varsity eight behind Purdue University.

The Eagles raced just once today, finishing in a time of 9:02.10 to finish second behind the Boilermaker boat that finished in a time of 8:31.90 to take home the top spot. Marquette University took third place behind EMU with a time of 9:24.90, while Wheaton College and Michigan State University placed fourth and fifth with times of 9:29.90 and 9:34:40, respectively.

The Eagles are back in action Saturday, May 2, when they head to Grand Rapids, Mich. for the MACRA Regatta.
