CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – Senior outside hitter Victoria Randolph (Cincinnati, Ohio-Mount Notre Dame) was named the Mid-American Conference's West Division Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday, Nov, 2. It is the first time in Randolph's career she has received the weekly honor.
A Cincinnati, Ohio native, Randolph led the Eagles to their first road victory of the 2009 season as the Eagles upended Central Michigan University, Oct. 29, at the Rose Center. In seven sets this weekend, she tallied a team-best 28 kills in 73 swings for a .342 hitting percentage. She also racked up 21 digs. Against both CMU and Ohio University, Randolph paced the Eagles with 14 put-a-ways in both matches to lead the Green and White's offensive attack.
