MAC Diver of the Year to compete in Thailand

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.-- Sarah Chrzanowski (W. Bloomfield Mich.-Walled Lake Central), of Eastern Michigan University’s championship women’s swimming and diving team, has been tabbed to participate in the World University Games, August 8-18, in Bangkok, Thailand, USA Diving announced. She will compete in the three-meter.

Chrzanowski, the reigning MAC Diver of the Year, competed at the NCAA Championships and finsihed 21st on the one-meter board and 36th on the three-meter. She also competed at the 2007 Speedo USA Diving Spring National Championships, placing seventh on the one-meter board with a 248.55 and ninth on the three-meter with a 259.85. Chrzanowski was also just recently named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American First Team.

USA Diving is the national governing body for the sport of diving. USA Diving conducts approximately 40 regional and national events annually and is responsible for training and selecting teams that represent the United States at international events, including the Olympics.
